Starting the Journey

The Waiting List

Our waiting list is the starting point for families who are interested in learning more about our program and exploring whether one of our puppies may be a good fit for their home.

Joining the waiting list allows us to connect, talk through expectations, and share information about upcoming litters. It is not a commitment to take a puppy, but rather an opportunity to begin a conversation and understand how our process works.

We value thoughtful, low-pressure communication and aim to support families as they determine the right timing and fit for their household.

Deposits and Flexibility

Placing a deposit indicates a family’s intention to move forward when the timing and fit align. Deposits help us plan responsibly and reflect the time, care, and preparation involved in raising and placing our puppies.

Deposits are non-refundable. We believe it’s important to be clear about this from the beginning so families can make informed decisions before moving forward.

We understand that choosing a new family member is a meaningful decision. While deposits are non-refundable, families may choose to pass on a particular litter and remain on the waiting list for a future litter if the fit or timing isn’t right. Open communication and thoughtful decision-making are encouraged throughout the process.

Our goal is to create clarity and mutual understanding so families feel confident and supported every step of the way

What's Included

Every puppy placed through Homegrown Huskies is raised with care and preparation to support a smooth transition into their new home. Our goal is to ensure families feel informed, supported, and well-equipped from the start.

Each puppy goes home with:

  • A veterinary check and first puppy vaccinations

  • AKC paperwork certifying parentage with limited (pet) registration

  • Records of care to share with your veterinarian

  • Food to support the transition to your chosen diet

  • A collar and a toy for the trip home

Upon request, we can also provide a cloth with the mother’s scent to help comfort puppies during their first few nights in a new environment.

Beyond what goes home with each puppy, we’re happy to offer guidance and support as families settle into puppy parenthood. While every family’s needs are different, we believe in being available as a resource as questions come up along the way.

Communication and Updates

We share general updates, photos, and each litter’s journey on social media so families can follow along in real time.

Once a puppy has been selected, we provide more direct updates to new families as we move closer to go-home day. This allows families to stay informed while keeping communication organized and manageable.

Next Steps

If our approach resonates with you, the next step is to join the waiting list so we can connect and learn more about what you’re looking for.Joining the waiting list does not obligate you to move forward, it simply opens the door for conversation and alignment. We appreciate families who approach this process with patience, openness, and care, and we look forward to getting to know you.
