Today we get to travel to our local veterinarian for our 6-week checkup and shots. Do you have any idea how fun it is to wrangle a litter of puppies in the truck and take them all to the vet? Well, let me tell you they don’t always like to play nice and there is usually a lot of barking going on. Then there is the new place so we have to smell everything and oh my people to lick and love. Our veterinarian has an amazing staff and all of them love our visits. This helps with a few things. We get socialization to outsiders for the pups, car ride test, and we get a good indication of overall health and temperament. Oh, and we get the shots so they get their best start for their new families.
